I read part of the story called "The Telephone" was written by A. F Ancawi during English class.
First, Ms. Jo Ann asked the question that how did the telephone change the villege?
I predicted that if the telephone come to the villege, it might help to communicate with others.
After I read some paragraphs, I thought that 8th and 25th are the most important paragraphs in the story because 8th paragraph shows that the villege was the year of whirlwind and black moon. It means the villege was depression.
25th paragraph makes me feel sorry because my prediction is wrong. I predicted that the telephone help people but finally, the telephone took her family away and she had to separate with her father because of the telephone.
I feel that this book is quite difficult to read for me but I want to try to read more.

You show that you can use the reading strategy to make a prediction. I'd like you to show that you are aware that you are using this strategy. Say something like, "I used the strategy... to..."If you are aware of using particular strategies, that is consciously use them, then you may become a better reader. Your use of an example to show that your prediction was wrong is well done.
