I started to read the book called The sisterhood of the Traveling Pants which was written by Ann Brashares. The book is about four girls spend their first summer apart from one another. The main characters of this book is sixteen-year-old girls who called Lena, Bridget, Tibby, and Carmen. They are the best friends since birth, and always need each other to live. In summer, they have to separate from each other becuase each of them go to other country for various pouposes. The day before departure date, four girls go to the second hand clothes store. They find one jeans there, and each of them try to put on it. They have various figure but all of them can wear that jeans so this jeans is called "magic jeans" by them. Girls decide that they take it for the travel.
The book cover interested me because when I saw the book cover first time, I couldn't imagine the relation between the traveling pants and jeans, also I couldn't understand the meaning of them. After I read first chapter, I understood the meaning of the book cover. This book is quite easy to read for me because the main characters of this story are teenager, and there are many dialogue sentences in the story. So I think that I can sympathize their feeling and thought. I continue reading this book.

Your blog lead me to want to read the book you read because your blog contain much information about book story. I agree that you can not image what will happen in the story when I saw the title of your book. However, I got what is happen in the story when I read your blog.
Your blog reminds me about my memory. when I decided to go Thai land and I have to separate from my best friend, I felt very sad because I notice that I will not be able to meet and talk to her face to face.
Yoshi brings up a point about leaving good friends behind. Did you also leave behind good friends in Japan? In this story, the pants remind the girls of their friendship because each of them can wear it. Do you and your friends have a "traveling pants" too? How do you stay connected to them?
